Always striving for excellence in all things with the goal of being good stewards of the land, wildlife, and livestock

Who We Are

Trout Creek Ranch is a private horse ranch nestled in the Wapiti Valley between Cody, Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park. TCR has been training and breeding world class athletes for over twenty years. The ranch specializes in performance cutting horses and also has a robust hay program that consistently produces premium equine hay for TCR’s needs and for sale on the open market.

TCR’s primary goal is to take care of the land and its natural inhabitants in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Through participation in projects and learning best practices from various conservation organizations, TCR has successfully preserved natural habitats for fish, ungulates, and other species.

Meet the Team

“We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us.  When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.”
